The BFS-Sack Countdown thread
Last match May 24th

Just when will we know is unsure, but a countdown is in order.
Are we in for the highlight of the season, or the day WHU was murdered?

Told you he wanted to go and was going to take a break. Another reason is his missus hasn't settled in London.

I also know that McClaren is under serious consideration.

Re: The BFS-Sack Countdown thread
The man has been a spiteful childish arsehole for the last six months or so... tbh he has been a shitstick ever since Sulli kicked the cosy little procurement arrangement with Curtis into touch.

He is the Red Adair of football... if you are at rock bottom, Sam can come along and move you up a few grades from ground zero. But that's his limit.

It comes at a price... he gets his tentacles into a club, what with Curtis and all the Klingons in the back room... and when you finally realise he is two years past his sell by date, you have the very devil of a job getting him out.

And then, when you have managed to shove him out the door, you realise his true legacy is... FUCK ALL.

Luckily Sulli started to get upside of those issues tail end of last season, so we should be able to cobble it back together. I honestly believe that Allardyce would DEFO have gone end of last season but for his arse covering contract.

We have the worry of what will happen next season. Is that a lesser worry than Allardyce staying?

For me, yes yes yes, it certainly IS.

News are flowing in. Great news too

West Ham manager Sam Allardyce will not have his expiring contract renewed.

The news will be announced on Monday when Allardcye will be on holiday.

Hammers co-chairman David Sullivan took control of transfers last summer.

Some bookmakers have closed markets on Slaven Bilic taking over as boss

Re: The BFS-Sack Countdown thread
If McLeish is available why would you want Bilic. FFS

I reckon the Davids could go for anyone... if their well publicised preference for a British manager with PL experience is still their main criteria then we are buggered.

Re: The BFS-Sack Countdown thread
If the replacement for BFS does not start off well remember two things. Firstly he will need and we should give him time and secondly look at how bad our running form is now.

Anyway the attitude of some on this forum is that as long as the new man butters us up with how great we are etc, how he loves the fans etc., how he respects our traditions blah blah blah, we could be anchored at the bottom of the table and it would still be acceptable.

Re: The BFS-Sack Countdown thread
Lot of vitriol aimed at him, some a bit uncalled for, tbf. We've certainly progressed from the cunt he took over from, that's for sure. Let's hope the next man keeps us moving forward.

Re: The BFS-Sack Countdown thread
Agree with MM. The football has not been great, to say the least. However the personal and continued criticism and hounding is an embarrassment and for that reason I will be glad to get someone new in.

At least we'll have a few months before the lynch mob come out again

Re: The BFS-Sack Countdown thread
I think some of the personal abuse he has received is out of order. He has done well for us , and gave us some good memories . play off final, club record away wins in the championship , beating Chelsea, Man c. Liverpool, spurs twice .
I wish him well
